About Us
Exploring the United States… One City at a Time
We’re Loran & Rebecca Posey — full-time travelers with 3 dogs and a love for outdoor adventure. Every 3 months, we move to a new city and make it home! Rebecca is a travel Speech-Language Pathologist, which allows her to work short-term assignments in places all over the country.
Our nomadic lifestyle allows us to get to know each town in an intimate way. We don’t just visit these places for a 1-week vacation. We live and work in these towns for 13 weeks, exploring as much as we can and asking the locals for all their recommendations. Then, we share our unique insights and experiences with other adventure-seekers — like you!
WHERE WE’VE LIVED
In February 2022, we left our hometown of Athens, Georgia and moved west for Rebecca’s first travel contract. Ever since, we’ve been on the adventure of our lives!

OUR STORY
Growing up, Rebecca’s family spent weekends camping all over north Georgia. And Loran, whose mom was a flight attendant, spent many nights sleeping in airports, waiting on standby tickets to fly to places like Hawai’i and Alaska. So when we started dating in 2012, travel and exploration came naturally to us.
During college at the University of Georgia, we developed an affinity for low-key adventure travel — outdoor experiences with natural beauty and minimal crowds. Together, we’ve hunted waterfalls in North Georgia, snorkeled in Cuba, and hiked among the redwoods of California! In fact, it was our trip to Northern California in June 2021 changed everything, inspiring us to start this travel blog and pursue a season of nomadic living.
